Offer Description
The aim of the research project is the development and evaluation of new vitrimer formulations to be used as matrices for fiber-reinforced composites. Vitrimers represent an innovative class of polymers that combine the mechanical properties and durability of thermosets with the processability and recyclability of thermoplastics, thus offering a sustainable solution for the production and management of composite materials. The project seeks to characterize the thermal, rheological, and mechanical properties of vitrimer systems, assessing their processability and suitability for structural applications.
In addition, it aims to produce and test fiber-reinforced composites based on these matrices, evaluating their performance and repairability.
Oral test aimed at ascertaining candidates’ aptitude and suitability to carry out the research activity covered by the Fellowship, as well as at assessing their knowledge of English and/or other languages relevant to the research activities to be performed (up to 50 points)
Relevance and pertinence of the publications, theses and scientific products attached to the research programme covered by the Fellowship (up to 10 points)
Relevance and pertinence of previous research activities and work experience, if any, in relation to the research activity covered by the Fellowship (up to 10 points)
Relevance and pertinence of their study programme to the research programme covered by the Fellowship (up to 30 points)
