This project focuses on small compounds that inhibit the ability of the human NDC
80 kinetochore complex to attach the replicated chromosome pairs (sister chromatids) to the microtubules of the mitotic spindle. These compounds, along with future derivatives that are being developed in our laboratory, must be evaluated for molecular activity and therapeutic efficacy across a broad panel of cancer cell lines and
