Title of the project: “Research of university botanical collections in relation to Italian and European colonialism”. European universities and museums have developed innovative approaches to examining colonial connections through the analysis of their material legacies. Botanical gardens and herbaria occupy a central role in this work. The postdoc will conduct research in archives, botanical gardens, and collections to analyze case studies on the relationship between Italian botanical collections, scientific practices, and colonial practices.
