Electroencephalography (EEG) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can detect early alterations in neural networks that manifest as cognitive and sleep-wake cycle disorders in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease, such as in patients with subjective memory impairment and mild cognitive impairment. The project aims to integrate innovative EEG, MRI, and plasma biomarkers, which allow for monitoring neurodegeneration, with artificial intelligence tools to improve early diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease and develop a neurobiological model of sleep-wake disorders in the early stages of the disease.
