This project will evaluate the activity of two non-native parasitoid species, Ganaspis kimorum and Leptopilina japonica, as biological control agents for Drosophila suzukii in the Veneto Region. For G. kimorum, its potential for use in inondative method will be investigated at two sites already authorized for parasitoid release. For L. japonica, the use of augmentation will be studied as a farm tool (economical and easy to set up) useful for managing crop residues and simultaneously promoting parasitoid growth.

• Master’s Degree in agricultural sciences and technologies (Laurea Magistrale o a ciclo unico awarded pursuant to Art. 3(1n), Ministerial Decree no. 270 of 22/10/04), obtained no more than six years before the expiry date of this call;
• Possession of a curriculum suitable for assisting in carrying out research activities;
