• Embodies or builds a bridge to digital media conservation and preservation efforts of the technical staff in museums
• Develops a vision from a technical standpoint, for a sustainable interdisciplinary research lab dedicated to researching born-digital art. The tecnologo
  * a helps institutionalising the lab with digital infrastructure (database etc.), supporting grant applications etc.
• He
  * she works in software engineering (full stack developer, specialist in code forensics and network analysis) and deals with hardware tinkering as well as with net art, idiosyncratic vernacular coding, artistic hacking.

  * she supports the research groups which investigate networked software-based art online (1990s-today / Web 1.0 to 3.0) from various perspectives.
• Part of that analysis is code and runtime analysis, reconstruction/restoration, reverse engineering, emulation etc. for analytic purposes.
• The technologist will also have to interface with works written in deprecated program languages/protocols.
