Atlas Copco BLM is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electronics Quality Specialist. The successful candidate will support both Customer Quality and Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) activities, with a particular focus on electronic-related topics, contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes and overall operational excellence.
Joining the SHE & Quality Department, you will have the main target to reduce the Quality defect rate through quality issues root cause analysis and final quality check activity in strict cooperation with the involved departments.
You will report to Quality Control Manager.
Main Duty- Conduct root cause analysis of customer returns (Dead On Arrival and other quality issues); prepare reports and collaborate with R&D, Production, and SQA teams to implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure the quality of electronic components, perform audits, inspections, and quality checks in compliance with industry regulations, with the goal of reducing supplier non-conformities.
- Participate and support the team during Production Quality audits bringing technical insights.
- Analyze and troubleshoot non-conformities identified on electronic boards rejected during quality control, with the objective of improving processes and reducing scrap rates.
- Participate in general quality activities, such as production quality audits and sample inspections on finished products.
- Technical diploma in Electronics or Mechatronics, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years proven experience in quality assurance, customer support, or a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of electronic components and quality standards.
- Able to carry out minor electronic repairs and soldering on SMD components.
- Able to perform autonomously electrical tests on boards and electronic equipment.
- Proficient in using laboratory test instruments such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Ability to create and manage technical documentation, ensuring clarity and accuracy in product information.
- Knowledge of strain gauge applications is a plus.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Excellent in Excel and other Microsoft 365 applications.
- Experience with Power Bi is a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
