Opportunity:

RN - Acute Care Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work part-time schedule with 2x12-hour shifts per week

• Rotational schedule covering days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS

• New York State RN licensure required

• Minimum one year experience in Med/Surg environment as a Registered Nurse required

• Provide high quality compassionate care to patients and families in acute care medical surgical setting

• Develop specialized skills in cardiac care including telemetry monitoring

• Assess patient needs, develop care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary team

• Provide direct patient care, evaluate progress, and coordinate care delivery

• Conduct patient and family education regarding self-care and lifestyle changes

• Apply nursing interventions including medication administration

• Maintain infection prevention strategies and required competencies

• Participate in rounds per protocol using necessary tools and equipment

• Document education provided and patient/family responses
