We are looking for a Global Event Manager to lead the operational planning and execution of Nordberg Medical’s global events portfolio.
This role is central to delivering international congresses, brand experiences, and corporate events, translating strategic direction and creative vision into seamlessly executed experiences

Keep the Engine Running — With Precision
As Senior Global Event Manager, you will ensure Nordberg Medical’s global events operate smoothly and reliably. You will coordinate strategy, creative direction, logistics, vendors, budgets, timelines, and teams so that events are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
You will collaborate closely with the Strategic Marketing Project Director to bring strategies and creative concepts to life, taking ownership to ensure flawless execution by anticipating risks, managing details, and keeping stakeholders aligned from early planning through onsite delivery and post-event data collection.
Key Responsibilities Event Execution & Project Management- Own the end-to-end operational lifecycle of global events, maintaining timelines, task lists, checklists, and master files.
- Anticipate operational risks, dependencies, and resource needs to ensure a seamless attendee journey, delivering unique and outstanding experiences.
- Support stakeholders and speakers throughout the event process, collaborating on agenda definition, content creation and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Manage all logistics, including venues, catering, AV, transport, accommodation, staffing, and materials.
- Lead onsite execution with full engagement from beginning to end, ensuring every detail is managed.
- Hire, brief, coordinate, and train temporary event staff.
- Collaborate across Marketing, Sales, Medical, Clinical, Digital, Legal, Finance, agencies, and vendors to ensure alignment and clear briefings.
- Escalate risks, deviations, or complex operational issues to the Strategic Marketing Project Director in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the Strategic Marketing Project Director to develop creative concepts and narratives, providing operational insight and execution-driven recommendations, while ensuring ideas are translated accurately into compliant and high-quality event assets.
- Liaise with vendors, negotiate costs, and ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Monitor budgets, track spend, reconcile invoices, and report variances on an ongoing basis.
- Optimize costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Manage event platforms (e.g., Cvent) in collaboration with the digital team, overseeing registrations, communications, agendas, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure accurate attendee data collection and provide post-event operational insights to support KPI and ROI analysis.
- Contribute to the setup and evolution of the global events department through best practices, templates, SOPs, and scalable processes.
- Help standardize tools and ways of working across regions to ensure efficiency, transparency, and audit readiness.

- 5+ years of experience in global event management preferably within corporate, healthcare, pharma, or medical aesthetics fields. While 5 years of experience is a guideline, we value demonstrated capability and mindset over tenure. Your ability to independently manage global, complex stand-alone events is what matters most.
- Proven track record managing complex international events and congresses.
- Strong cross-functional project management and organizational skills.
- Experience working with multiple international vendors and liasing with budget and invoice process.
- Strong written and verbal communication in cross-functional, multicultural environments.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
This position can be based anywhere in Sweden, the UK, Spain, Italy, Germany, or Switzerland, with a fully remote or hybrid working model. The role will include international travel as required by business needs.
