Chief Officer – 50m Private Motor Yacht
Great opportunity for a chief officer on a newbuild 50m private motor yacht. The yacht is in the shipyard in Turkey and will begin sailing in early January 2026. This is a single‑season vessel that will travel throughout the Mediterranean and winter in Italy.
Role & ResponsibilitiesAs Chief Officer, you will command the vessel and oversee all nautical operations, ensuring the vessel runs safely under private ownership in compliance with commercial standards.
Requirements & Qualifications- Minimum 2 years as Officer‑In‑Charge (OOW)
- Chief Mate certification for 500 GT (unrestricted sea area) or preferred 3000 GT
- Licensed to work in Malta flagged vessels
Contract:
Permanent. Salary: DOE. After one year you will be eligible for incentive courses; study time is scheduled during work hours and will not interfere with holiday time.
