The primary purpose of the Maintenance Technician is to provide routine mechanical and electrical maintenance support to ensure that production machines are maintained in an acceptable manner. In addition, troubleshoots production equipment when problems arise to prevent unscheduled downtime events. Performs specified preventive and predictive maintenance again to minimize scheduled downtime and reduce maintenance cost. Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Restoration of the functioning of the machines, the prevention of breakdowns and anomalies and, in part, the improvement of the means of work.
- Identifying imperfections in the machinery and their causes; disassemble parts to locate and eliminate faults.
- Ensure periodic maintenance work is performed
- Make improvement recommendations for plant equipment reliability and maintenance-related problems solving.
- Check and repair according to established procedures and at the end of each work performed, record the technical data relating to repair / maintenance carried out in the manner provided.
- Other duties as assigned
- On Call as needed
