As Applications Delivery Manager you will be responsible for the successful delivery of business application projects across the organization (excluding SAP). You will ensure that business requirements are translated into efficient and secure technical solutions – on time, on budget, and in line with strategic objectives. Your role combines strong project management capabilities with a sound understanding of enterprise application platforms.
YourResponsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of application-related projects – from planning and budgeting to execution and go-live.
- Act as the key interface between business units, internal IT, and external vendors.
- Oversee application architecture, integration, and adherence to IT security and compliance standards.
- Maintain clear documentation and report on project KPIs, risks, and milestones to the Chief Information Officer.
- Proactively identify optimization potential in application delivery and stay up to date with relevant technologies and trends.
- University degree in (Business) Informatics or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Several years of experience in IT project management, ideally in the field of enterprise applications (outside SAP).
- Solid understanding of application architectures, integrations, and platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, workflow or CRM systems).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across business and IT.
- Structured working style, high degree of ownership, and hands-on mentality.
- Very good command of English and preferably German.
