IT Senior Business Partner – Manufacturing & Installation

Purpose:

The IT & Digital Business Partner acts as the strategic interface between the Manufacturing & Installation functions and the IT organization
, ensuring technology initiatives align with business priorities. This role drives digital transformation
, optimizes operational processes, and supports the deployment of innovative solutions across plants and installation projects.

• Business Engagement & Demand Management
  • Serve as the primary IT contact for Manufacturing & Installation stakeholders.
  • Capture, assess, and prioritize business requirements, translating them into actionable IT initiatives.
• Digital Transformation & Process Optimization
  • Identify opportunities for process digitalization and efficiency improvements leveraging SAP, MES, and emerging technologies.
  • Support implementation of solutions that enhance productivity and operational excellence.
• Project Leadership & Governance
  • Coordinate IT projects within Manufacturing & Installation scope, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with global standards.
  • Apply change management practices to harmonize solutions across plants and installation sites.
• Technology Roadmap & Innovation
  • Contribute to the definition of technology roadmaps for Manufacturing & Installation.
  • Promote adoption of best practices and group-wide digital platforms.
• Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work closely with plant managers, installation teams, and central IT to ensure seamless integration of systems and processes.
  • Act as a liaison for global initiatives such as Smart Factory and Data Platform.

• Strong knowledge of SAP and MES systems in manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of Industrial IT and IoT technology
• Understanding of imanufacturing and installation workflows and related digital tools.
• Ability to manage complex projects and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with IT governance, change management
  , and digitalization best practices
