Role Overview
The Clinical Business Partner is a senior consulting professional responsible for leading high‑value digital transformation programmes across clinical systems for life sciences clients
. The role combines deep clinical systems expertise, technology leadership, and strong commercial acumen
, acting as a trusted advisor to both clinical and IT stakeholders. This position plays a critical role in client engagement, delivery oversight, business development, and team leadership across the Italian and international markets.
- Lead complex, high‑value clinical transformation programmes delivering measurable client impact
- Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders
, identifying needs and shaping solutions - Ensure excellence in delivery oversight (scope, timelines, quality, and risk)
- Drive implementation and optimisation of Veeva Vault Clinical platforms (CTMS, eTMF, Study Startup)
- Support clinical data management and data migration initiatives
- Design and improve digital and automated clinical processes
- Collaborate with technical teams on system integration, validation, and architecture
- Create and develop new business opportunities with new and existing clients
- Lead pre‑sales activities
, including client discovery, product demos, and RFI/RFP responses - Own and contribute to Statement of Work (SOW) creation
- 10+ years’ experience in management consulting, clinical systems consulting, or digital transformation
- Strong blend of commercial consulting and technical delivery capability
- Proven experience with Veeva Vault Platform (mandatory)
- Hands‑on experience with Veeva Clinical modules
- Strong IT, systems, and data management skills
- Experience with data migration programmes
- Exposure to Oracle environments (highly desirable)
- Background in IT or Engineering preferred
- Open to non‑life sciences backgrounds for Italy‑based candidates with strong technical consulting experience
- Agile / SAFe or equivalent delivery certifications
