Our solutions support complex commercial, service, and spare parts operations worldwide. To further strengthen our global Credit Control organization, we are expanding our invoicing and collection capabilities within our teams in Italy and the United States.
Role OverviewAs an Invoicing Accountant (m/f/d), you will be part of the NACOS Marine Credit Control team, working within an international setup spanning Italy and the US. In this role, you will take ownership of invoicing and collection activities across commercial projects, services, and spare parts orders, ensuring accurate billing, timely payments, and effective credit risk management.
You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and customers, supporting month‑end and year‑end closing activities while contributing to stable cash flow and financial transparency across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Perform invoicing for commercial projects (PS), customer service (CS), and spare parts (SD) orders
- Monitor receivables, manage dunning activities, and follow up on overdue payments
- Handle customer claims related to invoicing and collections
- Plan payment milestones and cost rollouts for major newbuild, refit, and service projects
- Support monthly and year‑end closing activities as well as financial planning tasks
- Identify, assess, and follow up on invoicing risks and issues
- Support customer credit evaluations and ensure risk assessments are properly reflected
- Collaborate closely with Credit Control, Sales, Project Management, and Finance teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent commercial education
- Solid knowledge of VAT and sales tax regulations; for Italy, experience with SDI (Sistema di Interscambio) is required
- Experience with SAP (PS, CS, SD, and FI/CO modules) and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in Italian and English, both written and spoken
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with a structured and proactive approach
- Independent, decisive, and action‑oriented working style with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Customer‑focused, pragmatic, and motivated to support business outcomes
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow with changing business requirements
