About the RoleYour main goal will be to drive and execute strategic and operational Finance projects that shape how n8n scales, from systems implementation to fundraising, process transformation, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities- Support the VP Finance with managing and executing special projects such as ERP or company‑wide planning system implementations.
- Prepare and execute equity financing rounds, M&A analyses, and debt financing projects.
- Lead or support end‑to‑end delivery of high‑impact initiatives that improve efficiency and transparency.
- Take ownership of key finance operating functions such as billing, cash management, and planning cycles.
- Build and refine intra‑team and cross‑functional processes for smoother collaboration and communication.
- Maintain best practices that position Finance as a proactive business partner.
- Act as a connector between Finance and other teams (Rev Ops, Data, Product, GTM).
- Ensure consistent, transparent communication through board prep, investor updates, and internal presentations.
- Support the creation of key materials, from monthly reports to team updates.
- 5+ years of finance experience, including at least 3 in transaction services (Big
4), investment banking, or consulting, and at least 2 in strategic finance at a high‑growth tech scale‑up. - Proven corporate finance expertise: fundraising rounds, M&A transactions, or other complex corporate finance projects.
- Advanced financial modelling skills: create sophisticated models for fundraising, M&A, or business scenarios.
- Process transformation mindset: designed and implemented systems or process improvements in scaling environments.
- End‑to‑end project ownership: manage complex, cross‑functional projects independently and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Strong communication & stakeholder management: translate financial insights into clear, actionable narratives.
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, CAC, LTV, churn).
- Experience with ERP, spend management, or billing platforms.
- Familiarity with automation tools (bonus if n8n experience).
