Technical Superintendent – Maritime

Location:
Genoa, Italy | Full-Time, Permanent

On behalf of a well-established maritime company based in Genoa, we are looking to speak with experienced Technical Superintendents interested in a shore-based role with a focus on vessel management and technical operations.

The role will involve responsibility for the day-to-day technical performance of assigned vessels, including maintenance planning, regulatory compliance, and liaison with onboard crews and third parties.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and managing technical condition and performance of vessels
• Coordinating repairs, dry dockings, and inspections
• Ensuring compliance with relevant maritime regulations and internal standards
• Managing budgets and technical documentation
• Supporting onboard teams with operational and technical issues

Candidate requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar shore-based role, or as a senior engineer onboard
• Solid understanding of vessel systems, maintenance processes, and maritime regulations
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Fluency in English;
  Italian is beneficial
• Preference will be given to candidates within commuting distance of Genoa
