Are you passionate about creating a safe, sustainable, and compliant workplace? Join Sherwin‑Williams as our EHS&S Manager and play a key role in driving excellence across our Italian operations, including facilities (11), R&D labs, and Sales / Technical teams.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Support all PCG operations in Italy, including facilities, R&D labs, and Sales / Technical teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement in Health, Safety, Environment, and Sustainability (HSE&S) performance.
  • Ensure full compliance with all HSE regulations, especially Legislative Decree 81/2008.
  • Integrate Sherwin‑Williams EHS Standards into site management systems and practices.
  • Collaborate with Group and Corporate EHS teams to implement requirements and initiatives.
  • Act as legally appointed Health & Safety Manager (RSPP) for Sherwin‑Williams Italy srl, ICA spa, and Inver spa.
  • Advise legal Employers (Datore di Lavoro) on actions to maintain compliance.
Environment
  • Implement environmental management systems and ensure compliance with local laws and Sherwin standards.
  • Coordinate waste management reporting and respond to government inspections.
  • Maintain compliance with environmental permits and regulations.
Health
  • Plan occupational health monitoring and reduce chemical exposure risks.
  • Coordinate exposure testing and provide guidance on occupational hygiene.
Safety
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
  • Create training materials and safe operating procedures (SSOPs).
  • Manage permits, emergency procedures, PPE, and risk assessments.
  • Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on safety projects and contractor management.
Sustainability
  • Lead projects to achieve corporate sustainability goals.
  • Conduct energy audits, reduce waste, and support sustainability reporting.
  • Build business cases, calculate ROI, and prioritize green initiatives.

Degree in a relevant field (., Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or similar).

Recognized EHS qualification (., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).

Legally required training and certifications as per State–Regions Agreement No. 128 of July 7, 2016 for RSPP (Responsabile del Servizio di Prevenzione e Protezione) .

Significant demonstrable experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental management within industrial or manufacturing environments.

Prior experience in roles such as EHS Specialist, Safety Officer, Environmental Coordinator , or similar, ideally with exposure to regulatory compliance and risk assessment.

Italian / English
