We are looking for a motivated, customer‑focused person to join our team as a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager. The Manager is the site lead for all Engineering matters within a building – building a culture of safety, ensuring statutory compliance, delivering high equipment availability, and partnering with the EU Engineering team to plan for future growth. The role includes a 15 % travel activity.

• Lead the team, own annual reporting, mentor direct reports and develop technicians.
• Work with site Safety and Site Leadership to implement, record and audit safety and statutory compliance programs, and own the legal responsibilities as the site engineering lead.
• Collaborate with the recruitment team to fill headcount with high‑quality experienced staff and support Apprentice and Graduate programs.
• Implement standards validated by the EU Engineering team and drive continuous improvement initiatives, especially in preventative maintenance programs.
• Maintain equipment failure contingency plans, coordinate rehearsals with affected parties, and respond flexibly to failures or breakdowns.
• Partner with Site Management, Finance, the EU Engineering team and internal design teams to plan for future growth, upgrades or new equipment roll‑outs.

• Bachelor's degree, or relevant experience at Amazon.
• Experience in employee and performance management.
• Experience in distribution or manufacturing with equivalent mechanical or electrical background.
• Experience in facilities management, office management, corporate admin services, or hospitality management.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

• Experience in design review process to incorporate electrical, mechanical, automation controls solutions for equipment reliability and standards.
• Experience with automated conveyor systems, controls, electrical and electronic principles, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, CMMS programs, preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics.
