We are currently looking for an
Expediter to reinforce our Procurement Team in Danieli Centro Combustion.

As an Expediter, you will be responsible for:

Coordinating assigned Expediting and Testing activities (internal and external inspectors, back-office staff).

Managing and monitoring the activities of the assigned supplier base
, ensuring the production process and order progress meet contractual deadlines through:

• Telephone follow-up;
• Periodic inspection visits to verify the progress of production phases at the supplier (purchasing, machining, assembly, preparation for shipment);
• Issuing visit reports and entering data into the system;
• Reviewing and updating the General Manufacturing Plan.

Performing inspections and tests on structures, machines, gas reduction stations according to specifications and drawings, hydraulic systems, etc.

Supervising NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) controls and inspecting products according to the Quality Control Plan.

Reviewing required certifications as per the Quality Control Plan and approving them.

Managing material collection where required, based on yield and contractual conditions.

Maintaining direct communication with the Purchasing Department, Project Manager, and Technical Office to share the supplier’s progress and the construction status of the product according to the relevant Technical Specifications.

• High school diploma as Industrial Technician or a Degree in technical subjects;
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the same role within the design and installation of steel plant systems industry;
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical technical drawings;
• Level 2 NDT certification (VT, PT, MT, UT); additional certifications will be considered a plus;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel);
• Fluent in Italian and English

• Availability for short worldwide business trips.
