- Supervises the issue of engineering deliverables and approves the supplier's engineering documents (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, civil, etc.); quotation technical alignment and supplier kick‑off meeting, expediting management.
- Leads and attends the design and safety reviews and supervises the follow up of the outcomes.
- Participates to project planning, budget definition by providing engineering milestones and requirements.
- Ensures effective technical coordination with Supplier's representatives and as such participates to good communication with suppliers.
- Supports and coordinates machinery suppliers and local installation company during the installation and start‑up phases of the machinery in close collaboration with the factory technical office.
- Participates to HSE, Process & Quality internal project review for the engineering concerns (PFMEA, HSE rules, Process specification, etc.).
- Ensure that the final project dossier is properly prepared, OPL follow‑up and closure.
- Contributes to the development of innovative engineering principles and ideas by considering business requirements, customer needs, technical innovations, and new market conditions.
- BSc. degree in an Engineering discipline. A postgraduate qualification in a relevant area of expertise would be advantageous.
- Min. 3‑7 years’ experience relevant professional experience gained in an engineering company or in factory technical office.
- Basic knowledge through specific training of international regulations and standards relating to machinery construction (CE Marking), ATEX regulations, safety regulations (CMSE® will be considered).
- Knowledge of management tools, 3D & Drawing tools, safety software calculation tools, PLC & SCADA familiarity.
- Capable of supervisory capacity for planning, organizing, communicating and personnel management skills.
- Ability to work in and lead multi‑discipline teams, to follow through and close out all work‑related items, to clearly deliver work instructions in a complex stakeholder environment.
- Experience in working cross‑functionally.
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and the capabilities and efficiencies of specific software for use in completing engineering assignments.
