Hosting Student Teachers or Newly Qualified Teachers in Italy
We would like to take advantage of the Erasmus+ opportunity to host one or more newly qualified teachers or final-year education students FROM FINLAND for an internship at our school. We believe this would be a fantastic way to share the strengths of the Finnish school system with a larger number of our interested Italian colleagues.
The Istituto Comprensivo Foligno 4 (Umbria, Italy) would be delighted to host and collaborate with graduates or undergraduates who are willing to work with us for a period of several months (from September 2026 to May 2027).
About our schoolOur institute is a comprehensive school with an enrollment of 700 students. The institute is divided into three levels: pre‑primary (ages 3–5), primary (ages 6–11), and lower secondary school (ages 12–14). In the lower secondary division, we also offer a specialized music program with an orchestra and a student choir. Our staff consists of 106 teachers and 14 non‑teaching employees.
We are officially accredited by Erasmus+ (Action KA120 – School Education) under activity code 2020-1-IT02-KA120-SCH-094867 (OID:
E). Accreditation ensures our activities and mobility until 2027. The primary objectives of our Erasmus project are to innovate teaching through STEAM and CLIL methodologies to enhance our students and teachers' scientific, digital and linguistic skills.
Other goals of our internationalization strategy are for our students to practice foreign languages in authentic multilingual contexts and to deepen their understanding of the European dimension.
