Job Title:

Functional Analyst, Plant Operations Management Systems

Location:

Buttrio (UD)

• Manage business and functional analysis for software solutions supporting the digitalization of a steel plant, with specific focus on production, quality, logistics and energy management;
• Map customers’ existing business processes, identify opportunities for improvement and translate them into requirements and specifications;
• Support the software development team participating in the implementation of the product features;
• Assist the project delivery team participating in modeling, customization, deployment, and support phases;
• Support sales team in engaging customers, giving product demonstrations, and gathering end-user experiences and input;
• Support product management in the definition of the long-term product roadmap.

• Diploma of Higher Technical Institute or Degree in Computer Science/Engineering;
• Familiarity with plant operations business logic in manufacturing or process industries;
• Experience with Agile project management approach and tools (e.g. Azure Dev Ops);
• Familiarity with software engineering theory and practice, UML diagrams, modeling, and design tools.
• Will be considered as a plus:
  • Experience in design and implementation of Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) solutions for process industries, especially in metals;
  • Experience with user interface design and prototyping tools;
  • Experience with user acceptance testing techniques and tools.
