Position detailsSalary: £29,173 - £33,287 (pro rata for part-time)
Hours:
21.6 per week, 52 weeks sessional
Working pattern (week
1):
Mon 7:45am to 3:27pm, Tue 7:45am to 3:27pm and Wed 10:18am to 6:00pm, all with 30 minute unpaid breaks.

Mon 10:18am to 6:00pm, Tue 7:45am to 3:27pm and Wed 10:18am to 6:00pm, all with 30 minute unpaid breaks.
The successful candidate will join the nursery team to support Early Years learning and development, work within the Early Years and Early Level team, and contribute to a nurturing play-based environment across the school.
QualificationsThe candidate will have either an HNC in Childcare and Education or an SVQ Level 3 or Social Services (Children and Young People) SCQF Level 7.
About the schoolCorstorphine Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and resilient Early Years Practitioner. The school has extensive links with cluster schools and the local wider community. There are dedicated spaces for music, drama, Support for Learning and English as an Additional Language, as well as a hall for Physical Education and Assemblies, and a library. This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
You will be required to provide these checks. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the satisfactory outcome of both pre-employment checks.
