As part of a unique, place-based tertiary institution offering education from further education to PhD level, the School delivers an innovative and inclusive model of veterinary and bioscience education. Integrating world-class research, knowledge exchange and consultancy, we provide exceptional, practice-focused learning experiences across veterinary medicine, veterinary nursing, animal, equine and biosciences.
Our distinctive interprofessional approach prepares graduates to meet global challenges in animal health, welfare and sustainability, ensuring they are equipped with the skills, confidence and adaptability required for modern professional practice.
This senior academic role provides strategic leadership in interprofessional education within SRUC’s School of Veterinary Medicine and Biosciences. The postholder will lead and contribute to high-quality teaching, pedagogical innovation and internationally competitive research, while shaping educational strategy, academic standards and student experience across a diverse tertiary portfolio.
