Salary: £25,905 - £26,111 (pro‑rated for part‑time and sessional)

Hours:

26.25 per week, 39 weeks sessional

Sciennes Primary School is situated in South East Edinburgh. At Sciennes staff work together to ensure we get the right support, in the right way for every child.

We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our dedicated team of Pupil Support Assistants. This role requires patience, flexibility, and a commitment to promoting positive learning and inclusion for all children. Previous experience of working in a school is desirable but not essential.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.

The successful applicant must provide both checks prior to employment commencement.
