Receptionist Administration and Business Support - Glencorse Care Home

Located in the heart of the new Greenlaw Mains community in Penicuik, Glencorse Care Home is a purpose-built, luxury home. Designed with comfort, dignity and wellbeing in mind, it will provide high-quality Residential, Dementia, Nursing and Respite care for up to 54 residents in beautifully appointed en-suite bedrooms.

We are now looking for a welcoming and organised Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the friendly first point of contact for residents, visitors and colleagues, ensuring our care home operates smoothly and efficiently.

What We Offer

  • £12.21 per hour
  • Contracted to 24 hours per week
  • Pension scheme, Paid PVG, Uniform provided
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

Your Role
As Receptionist, you will greet and assist visitors, ensuring a warm and positive welcome at all times. You will manage incoming mail, maintain accurate records, and provide essential secretarial support. This includes updating resident information, handling filing and photocopying, and supporting smooth office operations. You will work in line with company policies and contribute to a friendly, organised, and efficient environment, performing additional reasonable duties as required to support the running of the care home.
