- You will perform direct and general support maintenance on a variety of electrical and combustion-powered material handling equipment such as warehouse forklift equipment and small electrically powered equipment such as scooters or carts.
- You will repair electric forklift equipment by removing defective drive and hydraulic system motors.
- You will overhaul and repair combustion powered forklift equipment by installing short block assemblies and making necessary valve replacement or refinishing, replacing valve springs and rocker arms, etc.
- You will perform receiving inspections on equipment to determine the extent of repairs necessary.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment physical examination.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- You will frequently lift and carry parts and equipment weighing up to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
