Salary: $140,000 - $200,000 per year

We are seeking a seasoned Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your expertise in financial auditing, tax review, federal and state tax, tax accounting, income tax, and tax preparation to our fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role and a proven track record of success.
You will be responsible for providing financial information to our management team by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports. This role is permanent and offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports.
2. Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets.
3. Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements.
4. Create new processes to improve financial efficiency.
5. Report analysis and findings to management team.
6. Perform regular, detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures, and investments.
7. Forecast revenue and analyze profit margins.
8. Oversee budget and financial management.
9. Perform duties related to bookkeeping, preparation of government audits, taxes, and financial planning.
10. Work with tax returns and analyze financial information to ensure taxes are paid on time.
11. Review system for compliance with laws and regulations, advise on needed actions.
Qualifications:
1. Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
2. 5+ years of experience in public accounting or related field, with at LEAST 4 busy seasons
3. Proven experience with financial auditing, tax review, federal and state tax, tax accounting, income tax, and tax preparation.
4. Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts, and using advanced formulas).
5. Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws and regulations.
6. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
7. Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information.
8. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Strong organizational and planning skills in a deadline-oriented environment.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
