Vessel Operator, Tanker

Overview

We are seeking a Vessel Operator (Tanker) to manage spot and time charter voyage execution, ensure Charter Party compliance, and support safe, efficient tanker operations while maintaining customer satisfaction and cost control.

• Monitor vessel movements and update operational systems (e.g. IMOS)
• Execute voyages from pre-fixture planning to post-fixture completion
• Prepare Q88, trading certificates, and respond to charterer queries
• Review fixture recap, Charter Party terms, and coordinate voyage instructions
• Appoint agents, arrange PDA remittance, and manage LOIs and documentation
• Monitor voyage performance, cargo operations, demurrage, and claims
• Support time charter operations including hire billing, ROB reconciliation, and redelivery processes

• Diploma/Degree with 1–2 years shipping experience (tanker preferred) or sailing experience
• Basic understanding of Charter Party and tanker operations
• Proficient in MS Office; IMOS exposure is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure
• Detail-oriented, proactive team player
