Client Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Lead and guide a team to deliver accurate and timely accounting, payroll, and statutory reporting services for multiple client portfolios. Drive compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and tax regulations while managing client relationships and supporting business growth.

• Lead and manage a team servicing multiple client portfolios to ensure accurate and timely delivery of accounting, payroll, and statutory reporting services
• Oversee daily operations of the accounting and tax department to complete tasks efficiently and meet statutory filing deadlines
• Provide technical guidance on Singapore accounting standards, payroll practices, and corporate tax matters to team members and clients
• Manage portfolio billing, collections, and revenue performance to achieve financial targets
• Prepare and review full sets of accounts and compilation reports for client portfolios, ensuring compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and tax regulations
• Review unaudited financial statements and XBRL filings to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Oversee payroll processing, CPF submissions, and statutory payroll reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submissions for clients
• Maintain consistent delivery of client deliverables and meet all statutory deadlines
• Build and maintain professional, positive relationships with clients by providing timely support and addressing queries to ensure high client satisfaction
• Support the sales team with daily operations including documentation, client onboarding, grant application support, deadline follow-ups, and coordination
• Assist in preparing quotations, billings, and communicating service deliverables to clients
• Train, support, and lead the team to achieve quality deliverables while ensuring timely monthly billing and collections
• Collaborate with management to lead the team and contribute to the company’s growth strategy

• Chartered Accountant, ACCA or a related field

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in client accounting or a similar role, preferably in business services or corporate advisory
• Strong proficiency in accounting software such as Xero or Quick Books
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality results
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address client needs
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate financial records
