Industrial Electrician

Hours:

Monday - Thursday 8.00am-4.30pm and Friday 8.00am - 3.15pm

The Role:

Integrate Engineering Resources is currently recruiting for an Industrial Electrician for an ongoing role with a leading marine solutions company based in Pembroke. The work will involve working from electrical schematics, being responsible for electrical installations on boats and running diagnostics of existing of equipment. Duties will include:

• Fault finding, AD/DC electrical systems, including engine and navigation systems
• Repairing electrical installations
• Running, dressing and installing cabling
• Building and installing low grade electrical switchboards and pipe
• Installing marine electrical and navionics equipment
• Working in alignment with organisational quality, health and safety, and environmental policies.

Requirements:

• Fully time served and preferably with experience within the marine, boat building industry
• Experience working on installing electrical equipment, testing and commissioning of all electrics
• Able to work from 24 volt and 240 volt
• Support completion and sign off for snagging lists and final boat testing
• Knowledge of AC/DC systems and up to date with new technologies
• Able to work from manuals and complex drawings
• Able to work in confined spaces
• Relevant qualification or Time Served experience
• Flexibility is essential due to the nature of the business with reactive call out to client vessels in response to break downs or issues
