We have an exciting opportunity to join our Community Nursing Team based in Pembroke Dock, supporting the Team Leader in providing professional and clinical leadership to the Community Nursing Team. While desirable,this post does not require completion of an SPQ,however post registration development and experienceareessential., Supporting and working alongside the Team Leader you will work as part of the MDT to support the delivery of safe, effective, quality care, providing clinical leadership on a daily basis whilst managing a caseload of patients.
You will provide professional leadership,guidance and role modelling, supporting the development and well-being of staff and students. You will support the delivery of safe care through promoting and monitoring standards of care, audit and investigation of patient safety incidents and complaints.
Are you a nurse with leadership experience in an acute or community setting?
Do you currently hold or are working towards a Specialist Practitioner Qualification in District Nursing?
Have you considered a move to Community Nursing but have not completed the required Specialist Practitioner Qualification?, The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post;
English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Prince Philip Hospital in Llanelli; and Withybush Hospital in Haverfordwest - Five community hospitals:
Amman Valley and Llandovery hospitals in Carmarthenshire;
Tregaron Hospital in Ceredigion; and Tenby and South Pembrokeshire hospitals in Pembrokeshire - Two integrated care centres:
Aberaeron and Cardigan in Ceredigion, and several other community settings - 47 general practices (six of which are health board managed practices); dental practices (including four orthodontic); 97 community pharmacies; 43 general ophthalmic practices; and 8 ophthalmic domiciliary providers
