Occupational Health Nurse (RN)
Location: Pella, IA
Shift: 1st shift
Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate with overtime and annual bonus opportunities

Provides nursing assessment, intervention and evaluation for occupational and non‑occupational illnesses and injuries. Manages ongoing care of team members, conducts required screening/tests, delivers preventative care and offers resource support for medical needs.
Responsibilities- Maintain nursing certifications and license.
- Manage direct care of work‑related and non‑work related injured or ill team members.
- Provide case management of Workers’ Compensation claims and support for hearings as needed.
- Conduct hearing tests and manage follow‑up care.
- Administer vaccination programs (Tetanus, Hepatitis, etc.).
- Facilitate physician job‑site visits and Functional Capacity Examinations.
- Chart all care accurately and timely into team‑member health records/files.
- Assist HR with reasonable accommodations by providing resource assistance.
- Conduct job assessments in manufacturing and office environments; perform risk analysis and recommend risk‑reduction solutions.
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain recordkeeping within scope of responsibility.
- Maintain Health and Safety Information systems; input health information and treatment plans promptly and accurately.
- Other duties as assigned.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Current nursing license (LPN, RN, or BSN) in the state of Iowa.
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of employment.
- CAOHC certification preferred (Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation).
- CPR certification required.

Ability to calculate medication dosages and related figures.

Regular speaking and hearing; hand use for handling, finger, or feeling tasks; occasional standing, walking, sitting, reaching; occasional lifting or moving up to 25 lb; requires close vision, color vision, and focus adjustment.
