What You Will Do- Administer hyperbaric treatments to patients under the supervision of a physician.
- Operate and maintain hyperbaric chamber and associated systems and equipment as prescribed by a hyperbaric physician and under supervision of program director or clinical coordinator.
- Monitor patients in the chamber and record patient condition. Ensure patient comfort and report any unusual occurrences.
- Maintain operating, maintenance and safety logs on hyperbaric equipment.
- Keep patient treatment records and collect data as required.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Emergency Medical Tech preferred.
- One or more of the following required within twelve (12) months from hire or transfer date:
- Hyperbaric Tech certification.
- Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the Alabama Department of Public Health.
- Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- Nurse Aide credentialed from the Alabama Nurse Aide Registry.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
