• Respond to routine and some non-routine customer service calls, scheduled maintenance calls, emergency and after-hours service calls; diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, replace defective parts and debug systems for routine problems; install projects as necessary.
• Use solid troubleshooting skills to isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.
• Identify and resolve problems for various service calls, including emergency and after-hours calls; analyze repair requirements and provide customers with appropriate solutions; complete necessary repairs and replacements as needed; exercise judgment in selecting methods to achieve results.
• Complete accurate and detailed service reports for customers in a timely manner to enable accurate invoicing and job cost tracking.
• May provide custom systems integrations, detailed system upgrade planning and execution, systems audits and consultation, and/or database management and manipulation. May install, configure, and support a variety of network systems and equipment for assigned projects.
• Execute all service calls in accordance with federal, state and local regulations as well as company health and safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate and collaborate with other team members to improve the Technology Center’s operations.
• Primarily perform preventative maintenance for installed systems that are typically less complex.
• Work closely with other specialists to cross-train on servicing existing customers by responding to service calls, supporting Customer Support Programs and small projects.
• Scope of work includes technical assistance, systems checkout of new and existing installations, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair routines for installed security systems and the installation of small or less complex projects.

  Qualifications:
  
  Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to meet customer needs proactively; solid technical skills and/or experience related to fire alarm systems and/or electronic security systems; solid programming skills with ability to troubleshoot problems and find solutions; self-starter who can work with minimal direct supervision; solid mechanical and electrical aptitude; valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;
  
  ability to travel locally to jobsites; minimal overnight travel may be required.

• Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
