A healthcare opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room care within the Neuro/Spine specialty. This contract position offers a focused role supporting surgical patients in a high-acuity environment utilizing advanced equipment such as the Da Vinci Robot and EMR systems.

Location:
Situated in Pelham, AL, this role allows engagement with a dedicated team in a 24-bed surgical unit known for delivering specialized neuro and spine operative care. The setting offers a professional atmosphere where patient ratios are maintained at 1:1, supporting quality care and attention.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid RN license with 2+ years of operative room nursing experience.
• Neuro/spine surgical experience is required.
• Certifications:
  
  Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from AHA.
• Familiarity with use of Da Vinci Robot preferred.
• Comfortable working with orthopedic procedures and Max Facelift cases is an advantage.

Schedule & Commitments:

• 4 x 10-hour shifts, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• 36 guaranteed weekly hours.
• Call requirements vary and will be discussed during interview.
• Float within 25 miles of the primary facility as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in the neuro/spine specialty.
• Collaborate closely with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and procedural accuracy.
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and documentation standards (Cerner EMR).
• Comply with dress code: navy scrubs; no T-shirts, fleece jackets, hoods, or nail polish.
