This K-12 school-based contract opportunity in Pelham, AL, offers a dynamic role serving three separate schools:
Chelsea Middle, Chelsea High, and Columbiana Middle. The position requires a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who is passionate about supporting students across a diverse academic spectrum.
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with educational goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to monitor student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school policies.
- Provide direct therapy services for students across multiple grade levels and settings.
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license and CCC credential.
- Previous experience working in K-12 school settings is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple school locations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Location:
Pelham, AL
Work Schedule:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, onsite.
Contract Duration:
School calendar year, contract through May 2025.
