Base Pay Range

$36.00/hr - $39.00/hr

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing care to residents, supervising the day‑to‑day activities of nursing assistants in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Direct the day‑to‑day functions of nursing assistants, meet with assigned nursing staff, and plan shift services and activities.
• Document and file required records upon resident admission, transfer, and discharge; receive and transcribe physician orders; chart accurate notes and incident reports.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians.
• Maintain a positive, calm environment, develop rapport with inter‑departmental personnel, and ensure nursing services meet resident needs.
• Administer specialized services such as catheterization, tube feedings, suction, dressing changes, colostomy care, blood draws, massages, range‑of‑motion exercises, and care for the dying.
• Monitor personnel to ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper equipment use.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information, including protected health information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Licensed Practical Nurse with an unencumbered state license.
• Proficient reading, writing, speaking, and understanding of English.
• Ability to make independent decisions when required.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, laws, regulations, and guidelines for nursing care facilities.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in long‑term care preferred.

• Push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds up a height of 5 feet and a distance of 50 feet.
