Overview
The Total Facilities Management Supervisor is responsible for the development, implementation and expansion of an integrated consumer-driven janitorial business with Bridgeway's Affirmative Employment Division. Will procure and administer janitorial service contracts both within the organization and in the community. Oversees operations of the business ensuring adequate scheduling; maintaining accurate records for attendance and payroll; ensuring that quality standards and measures established at each work site are met;
and responsible for supply/equipment inventory, ordering, purchasing and maintenance. Oversee safety of operations ensuring that all procedures and storage of items are completed in accordance with OSHA standards. Assess the need for additional equipment and staffing.
- Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance to fulfill contractual obligations.
- Schedule employees as required to ensure full coverage of all shifts in compliance with contractual obligations.
- Oversee inventory system of supplies and assets for accuracy.
- Order janitorial supplies while remaining cost efficient. Deliver such supplies to all accounts.
- Complete regular inspections of all janitorial contracts to ensure compliance and quality standards are maintained or exceeded.
- Operate all equipment and vehicles in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
- Travel, when needed, to other areas where Bridgeway has Janitorial accounts.
- Provide administrative oversight to staff responsible for completion of janitorial services contracts.
- Directly supervises Lead Janitorial Associates and Janitorial Associates.
Minimum requirements include a High School diploma/GED with 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Janitorial work experience preferred.
Certifications and background checksMust be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification offered through Bridgeway, along with successfully passing an 8-hour mental health training course. Employment with Bridgeway is conditional upon completion of all background checks.
