Mechanical Engineer

Shift: 1st Shift (8 hours)

Compensation: $90,000 – $119,600 annually

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Mechanical Engineer to support and lead engineering initiatives within our facility. This role combines strong technical expertise with a hands‑on, solution‑oriented mindset to ensure optimal equipment design, system reliability, and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do:
  • Design, evaluate, and improve mechanical systems and components
  • Support manufacturing and maintenance teams with technical expertise
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Drive continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives
  • Contribute to capital project planning, execution, and equipment upgrades
  • Develop and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure system performance and reliability
  • Manage engineering projects, timelines, and deliverables
Requirements What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, preferably in manufacturing or product development
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as Solid Works, AutoCAD, or Inventor
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, materials science, and fluid dynamics
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and industry specifications
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Experience leading design projects or mentoring junior engineers
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license
  • Familiarity with FMEA, DFMEA, Six Sigma, or lean manufacturing methodologies
  • Experience with electromechanical systems
Technology and Tools
  • Experience with 3D modeling and simulation software such as Solid Works Simulation or ANSYS
  • Familiarity with MATLAB or Python for calculations and automation
  • Experience with project tracking tools such as MS Project or Jira
  • Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP for BOM management and documentation control
  • CAM software knowledge such as Mastercam is a plus
Additional Requirements
  • High attention to detail and design accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed for installations, testing, or supplier visits
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
