Housekeeping Aide (Per Diem)

The Emerald Peek Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is looking to hire a Housekeeper to join their team.

The primary purpose of this job is to perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator and/or the Environmental Service Director, to assure that our Facility maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

Pay Rate:
Up to $18/hr

Housekeeping Aide

Job Requirements:

• Must be physically and mentally capable of performing routine, repetitive job duties.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, and government agencies personnel.

• Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc. and maintain the appearance of housekeeping areas, must perform regular inspections of resident rooms for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties.

• Be personable with residents, families, and staff in a professional and cooperative manner.

• Must have compassion, tolerance, and understanding for the elderly.

Housekeeping Aide

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner.

• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixture of cleaning compounds, liquids, and disinfecting solutions, etc.

• Must be able to lift, push, pull, move equipment, supplies, linens, etc. in excess of fifty (50) pounds throughout the work day.

Status:
Per Diem

Pay Rate:
Up to $18/hr
