Support Worker​/Personal Assistant

Job Description

A gentleman living in Peebles looking for Personal Assistants to assist with daily care needs. Support with personal care and catheter care management in the mornings and evenings as well as support with meal preparation at lunch time too.

Terms:

• Hours per week: 12.25 Hours
• Hours of work:

Morning visit – 7:30am-8:15am (45 mins per day)

Lunch Visit – 12:00pm-12:15pm (15 mins per day)

Evening Visit – 9:30pm-10:00pm (30 mins per day)

• £13.20 per hour.
• Paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata
• Probationary period of 6 months
• Post subject to references and PVG scheme membership

• To support client to ensure their safety and well-being.
• To support with personal care routine as/when required.
• To support with general care needs including:
  • Personal care assistance, medication prompts
  • Meal and drink preparation.
  • Catheter care management.
• To develop a positive relationship with the client and work as part of a team.

Experience is essential for a candidate and someone with the right personal attributes, and to be able to show some suitability for the role is required.
