Description/Notes: Direct and manage custodial services for all district facilities. Establish cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building operations and grounds.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- Associate’s Degree, required;
Bachelor’s Degree, preferred - TASBO-CTSBO Certification, preferred; required after 3 years of service
- Clear and valid Texas driver’s license
Special Knowledge/
Skills:
- Knowledge of basic principles of construction, school plant maintenance, and custodial operations
- Knowledge of facility operations on building and grounds use and related equipment
- Ability to conduct on-site inspection of district facilities
- Ability to implement policy and procedures
- Ability to interpret data
- Knowledge of basic construction, routine maintenance, and repair procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in both English and Spanish
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Bilingual required
Experience: 3 years of experience in maintenance operations
Salary Range: 12 month min: $69,671.20 to mid: $87,089.00
