Description
This position is mainly to coordinate the day-to-day clerical functions of the physical therapy department, i.e., scheduling, clerical priorities, and department meetings.
As directed by the PT Director, the flex aide may also provide PTs, PTAs, and exercise clinicians with non-medical support, including preparation of patients prior to session, and aftercare.
All RRH employees must perform their job responsibilities according to all RRH Hospital policies, as well as to accrediting organizations, federal and state regulation, and to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines, as applicable.

- Physical and Mental Requirement:
Clerical part:
Organization, analyzing information, professionalism, problem solving and verbal and written communication.
Clinical part:
Duties of the position require extended periods of standing and walking. Repeated bending, stooping and reaching. Pushing and pulling up to 300 pounds and carrying up to 50 pounds. Lifting up to 50 pounds and heavier lifting in transferring or supporting patients who may suddenly become weak or helpless. The ability to comprehend and follow written or verbal instructions.
