Job Title: Future Middle School Teacher (6th-8th) (2026/27)
School: Crockett Middle School
Campus
Description:
Crockett Middle School is part of the Pecos-Barstow-Toyah Independent School District, nestled in the heart of Pecos, Texas — a vibrant community situated in the Permian Basin and the Trans-Pecos Chihuahua Desert, between El Paso and Midland. Serving students in grades 6th through 8th, CMS is a campus with national recognition to back up its culture. It is a Capturing Kids' Hearts National Showcase School, a designation that reflects a deep commitment to building meaningful relationships between students and staff.
This year, CMS also earned a spot on the Schools to Watch national list — a distinction that honors middle schools demonstrating excellence in academic performance, developmental responsiveness, social equity, and organizational support. And there is even more to look forward to: a brand-new facility is currently under construction, with a community tour scheduled for October 24, 2026, and students and staff beginning their spring semester in the new building.
It is a tremendously exciting time to join this campus.
