Hospitality Controller

The Restaurant Controller will lead the accounting and financial reporting function for a growing, multi-unit restaurant platform. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and scalable accounting processes to support ongoing growth. The ideal candidate has experience within multi-unit or restaurant environments and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.

• Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements
• Prepare and review consolidated financial reports across multiple entities and concepts
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain strong internal controls
• Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and banking relationships
• Partner with operations and leadership to analyze financial performance, margins, and unit-level profitability
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across concepts and regions
• Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and work with outside accounting partners
• Develop, document, and scale accounting policies and procedures
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles
• Experience in multi-unit restaurants, hospitality, retail, or similar environments
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and multi-entity accounting structures
• Experience with ERP systems and POS-driven accounting environments
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization
