Overview
Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Team. Pay range: $11.50 to $14.50 per hour
.
We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $2.31 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

Position Summary
We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. A Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions.
They thrive on engaging with customers and assist with inquiries and problem resolution. The associates will work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more.
The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate position offers an hourly wage, plus commissions based on productivity. The final pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities

- Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
- Performs non-management open/close procedures.
- Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
- Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Handles cash and negotiable items following policies and regulatory requirements.
- Answers incoming calls per company standards.
- Effectively communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, showing respect and using communication tools.
- Partners with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
- Completes assigned training successfully.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
- May be asked to assist a customer on exterior of the building or retrieve products stored in exterior storage areas.
- Minimum Age: 18 years old.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Strong desire to work, serve customers, be team-oriented.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
- Cash handling experience is preferred.
- Should be able to work in multiple locations as needed.
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
