Overview

FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions are available for full time and part time employment at Pearl Public Schools.

Location:

Pearl Public Schools - 180 Mary Ann Drive, Pearl, MS 39208. Online applications accepted only.

Full time and part time schedules. Shifts typically 6:00 am to 1:30 pm or 6:30 am to 2:00 pm; days may vary. Details provided at interview.

Previous food service experience in a K-12 setting is preferred.

$11.00 to $12.00 per hour.

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, serving temperatures and portion control.
• Provides friendly, efficient service and resolves customer concerns with supervisor assistance as needed.
• Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory and cash control procedures.
• Adheres to sanitation and safety requirements and performs other duties as assigned.
