Wheelchair Transport Driver – Pearl City, HI
As part of Hawaii Patient Transport, you will deliver compassionate, personalized service to veterans in the Pearl City area, ensuring safe and reliable transportation while maintaining a supportive environment for all clients.

Responsibilities- Operate a company‑provided shuttle/sedan safely and courteously, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations; transport disabled veterans within the designated service area and according to the assigned schedule.
- Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections; report any mechanical or maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist passengers, including those using wheelchairs or mobility aids, in boarding and alighting; properly secure wheelchairs and scooters for safety.
- Maintain effective communication with dispatch; report deviations, accidents, passenger incidents, medical or behavioral concerns, and vehicle problems; complete written reports accurately and promptly.
- Provide guidance and inform passengers about rules and regulations to ensure a safe and comfortable travel experience.
- Assist passengers with loading and stowing luggage, ensuring careful handling and proper securing during transit.
- Meet physical requirements: lift 75 lbs from the floor; push/pull 80 lbs horizontally and at an incline; apply up to 50 lbs of hand force; climb steps; kneel and reach the floor; sit for prolonged periods (over 2 hours).
- Starting wage: $18.10 per hour.

- Ability to provide housing for a commercial utility van at your residence, bearing the company logo for brand visibility.
